Tim Moody

Tim has been playing guitar and other stringed instruments for over 40 years, taking his initial training through the Ontario Conservatory of Music program. From an acoustic folk beginning, his interest expanded across genres from old-time fiddle music all the way to Alice Cooper.

Tim has performed with Elvis impersonators, traditional roots band The Wakami Wailers and most recently with Odd Man Rush here in Peterborough. He can also be found in musical theatre orchestras playing electric, acoustic and 12-string guitars, mandolin, banjo, ukulele and bass.

Tim is excited to be able to pass on his knowledge to students of any age, especially “mature” beginners and those who used to play and want to rediscover the old guitar that has been hidden in the closet for too many years. (hint: you’re never too old to learn to play an instrument).
